APC Presidential Primaries Update 2024
The All Progressives Congress (APC) conducted their Primaries elections on June 6 and 7, 2024 at the Eagle Square, Abuja, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged as the winner and thus, the Presidential Flag bearer for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
Asiwaju Tinubu got 1,271 votes from the All Progressives Congress delegates to snag the highly sought-after APC Presidential ticket.
Some members of the APC however complained that the south was being shortchanged due to the difference in the number of delegates in various parts of the country. They complained about the North having more delegates than others.
The North is said to have 1,257 delegates, while the South can only boast of 1,068 delegates.
The unhappiness stemming from this complaint seems to have been short-lived as everyone in the All Progressives Congress seems to have buried their hatchet and decided to put all hands on deck and work together for the success of their presidential bid. True team spirit, indeed.

APC Presidential Running Mate Update 2024
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in partnership with his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), finally decided on their presidential running mate for the 2024 presidential election.
His choice of running mate, a Muslim on a Muslim ticket caused quite the ruckus among Nigerians, some of whom have viewed the ticket as a threat to their lives because he, Kashim Shettima, former Governor of Borno state, is said to have ignored security protocol that was given by the then President of Nigeria, His Excellency Goodluck Ebele Johnathan, which led to the abduction of over two hundred school girls at Chibok, a couple of years ago during his tenure as governor.
He is said to have flouted the security protocols willfully but Asiwaju Tinubu has maintained that he decided to make him (Shettima) his running mate because of his proven track record of competence.
Simeon Lalong, Governor of Plateau state, and Adams Oshiomhole, ex-governor of Edo state have been selected to be the Campaign Coordination Director-General and deputy respectively.
