Essential Requirements For BBC Media Action Recruitment 2024
The qualifications, skills and experience required for the job position is listed here:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in social science or a closely related field.
- Proven ability to forge effective working relationships with media-house managers, editors, NGOs, CSOs, and government staff.
- Proven track record of working with media and communications to achieve development goals.
- Proven senior management experience in a development context, preferably in Tanzania.
- Experience of managing teams of at least four staff.
- Strong financial management skills with experience managing budgets of over £250,000 per year.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with conflicting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken Kiswahili and English.
