Requirements For GIZ Uganda Recruitment 2024
Below are the qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in in Law, Political Science, Social Science or Development Studies or a related field.
- Four years professional experience in organisational development and civil society participation.
- 4 years working experience with civil society organisations and governmental institutions.
- Experience and/or ability to work in an intercultural team.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research, data collection and data analysis.
- Professional experience in results-oriented project planning, monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience in the design and steering of change processes.
- Experience in the design and facilitation of workshops and trainings.
- Knowledge and experience in gender mainstreaming, empowerment of youth and marginalised groups.
- Professional proficiency in English, knowledge of local languages (Runyakore, Rukiga) is an added value.
- Excellent people skills and ability to negotiate between different stakeholder groups.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Self-drive, creativity, and problem-solving capacity are required.
- Able to work independently, responsibly and target oriented, including under remote management.
- Flexibility to work at different locations in different (mobile) conditions and extensive travel throughout Uganda.
