How to Register for your Permanent Voters Card Online
If you’re a Nigerian who is up to 18 years old, then you are eligible to register for an INEC Permanent Voters Card which will be needed to vote during the general elections and can also serve as a form of identification anywhere in the country.
You can get your registration done in the few, simple steps outlined below;
Go to the INEC Official Website, click on ‘get started’ and you’ll be directed to a page where you’ll find ‘New Voter Registration’.
Click on ‘New Voter Registration’ which will require that you create an account. Correctly fill in your name, email address, and phone number, and create your password. You’ll receive a ‘confirmation email’ which you’ll have to click on to confirm your account. Next, log in to the account and confirm that all the details you provided are correct.
Register for your PVC. This is where you’ll supply your BioData information and every other detail required. Make sure that everything you say is correct and verifiable. Upload documents where necessary as well.
Upload your Photographs. You’ll have to upload two close-up pictures of yourself not smiling in the first, and smiling in the other.
Schedule a Biometrics capturing appointment. There, you’ll be able to find INEC locations where you can get your biometrics captured. Choose the one closest to you and go there when convenient to complete your registration.
