The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), has introduced a system that allows undergraduates from different higher institutions of learning to check whether or not their admissions are recognized by JAMB, which is the Matriculation List.
You must check to see if your name is on the matriculation list, to avoid any complications when you should be graduating and going for the National Youth Service year. This is because only those with their names on the Matriculation list are recognized as legitimate students from the different accredited institutions.
Consequently, if your name is not found on the list, your application to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme for the one-year Youth service shall not be approved.

Here is how to qualify for the Matriculation list;
- First, print out your JAMB Admission Letter Online from their e-Facility Platform.
- Next, print out your Result Slip Online from the same e-Facility Platform.
- Proceed to verify these two documents with your higher institution’s admission officer.
How to Check Your Name on JAMB Matriculation List
We’ve outlined below, a detailed and step-by-step guide on how to check your JAMB matriculation status.
- On your device browser, visit the matriculation list portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckMatriculationList.
- Select the year you took the examination.
- In the field provided, enter your JAMB Registration number correctly.
- Tap on ‘Fetch My Details’.
Once you’re done with the steps outlined above, you should receive any one of the following messages listed below in response to your attempt to check your name on the JAMB Matriculation List;
- Congratulations
- Kindly print JAMB admission letter
- Kindly print JAMB result slip
- Kindly print JAMB admission letter and result slip
- You are not given admission yet.
Important Notice
1. If you got ‘Congratulations’ as response, you’ve been verified/confirmed by JAMB and you can be mobilized for NYSC.
2. If you got ‘Kindly print JAMB admission letter’ as response, you’ll have to visit a cyber cafë and proceed to print out your admission letter.
3. If you got ‘Kindly print JAMB result slip’ as response, especially as a direct entry student, go to a cyber café and print out your result slip immediately.
4. If you got ‘Kindly print the JAMB admission letter and result slip’ as response, go to a Cyber café and print out the JAMB admission letter and result slip.
5. If yours was ‘You have not been given admission yet’, another response should come immediately for regularization of admissions.
You’ll have to generate a form online, fill and submit it to the Admission Office of your school for further processing. After that, you’ll a response from JAMB via email and you’ll be directed to print your admission letter.
