NECO GCE Result Checker 2024 – The National Examinations Council (NECO) board has announced the release of its NECO General Certificate Examinations (GCE) result and has made them available online. Candidates who registered for and took part in the examinations or individuals who have family or friends who took part in the November/December External Senior School Certificate examinations can now go online to check for and view their result or inform their family and friends to do so.
This article has been put together to inform you that the result are out and can be accessed and viewed online and also to give you detailed and precise information on the steps involved in checking for your result, having it printed out or sent to your mobile devices (phone, laptop, etc.).
As earlier stated, the Management of the National Examinations Council (NECO) had earlier announced the release of its General Certificate Examinations (GCE) result that had been taken in November/December 2022, and candidates that took part in the said examinations have been urged to proceed to the NECO GCE portal to check their result immediately.

Outlined below are the detailed steps involved in checking your NECO GCE Result online. If you follow them step-by-step, you should be able to view your result, have them printed out, or whatever you desire to do;

Note that before you can check your NECO GCE Result online, you have to buy the NECO GCE Result checking token. This result checking token can be purchased online, all you need to do is go to a cyber café and tell them that you need to check your NECO GCE result and that have to purchase the said token first, they’ll do that for you for a fee, plus the cost of purchasing the token.

Step 1 – On your mobile device browser, visit the NECO GCE Result checking portal at https://result.neco.gov.ng/.
Step 2 – In the field indicated, select the year you took your NECO GCE examinations. i.e. 2022.
Step 3 – Also, select the type of examination you sat for. i.e. SSCE EXTERNAL (NOV/DEC)
Step 4 – You’ll find on the screen different fields for your Token Number and Registration Number respectively, fill them in the columns accordingly and correctly.
Step 5 – Once you are done typing in all the required details, take a minute to go through each of them to be sure that they are all correct. Tap on the ‘check result’ button to view your NECO GCE Result.
Note that you can ask them to print out the result for you for a fee of (about) N100 or ask them to send them to your mobile phone (if you went to a cyber café to check the result).
