NYSC Senate List 2024
The NYSC Senate list is a list of graduates who have been approved by the Senate of Corps Producing Institutions (CPI) to partake in the compulsory one-year National Youth Service Corps Program.
Only shortlisted candidates are usually eligible to register for the NYSC Program. The NYSC SENATE list is also known as the NYSC Mobilization list.
Prospective Corps members (PCMs) are to ensure that their names are on the Senate academic list of their various institutions for NYSC mobilization.

The NYSC board does not decide whose names appear on the Senate list. It is your institution of learning that reserves the right to compile and forward the list to the NYSC who then goes ahead to upload it on their portal for viewing.
How to Qualify for NYSC Senate List 2024
There’s usually a period set aside for final year students to get screened ahead of their final Clearance. Graduating students are usually required to visit their School’s Records Units with documents like Course forms, School fees receipts, Admission Letters, FSLC/WAEC Results, etc, for documentation.
This is usually to make the student eligible for the final year Clearance by their School’s Senate, which would then earn them a spot on the NYSC Mobilization List. Any student who misses the chance to get screened before the clearance usually has to wait for the next academic session to do so.
- Be sure to complete your final year Clearance with your institution as at when due.
- Register for NYSC at the Directorate of Students’ Affairs in your School.
- Follow up your registration by checking with your institution to confirm your name before they send the list to NYSC.
- Lastly, ensure that your name is on the JAMB matriculation list.
How to Check Your Name on NYSC Senate List 2024
- On your mobile device, go to the NYSC Senate / Academic Board list portal via https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/VerifySenateLists.aspx
- Select your institution
- Supply your matriculation number and surname as requested on the page
- You’ll also see a space for your date of birth, enter that, too.
- Lastly, click on the ‘SEARCH’ button to see your Mobilization status.
What to do if you Don’t Find Your Name on NYSC Senate List 2024
If you’ve done all the above and find that your name is not on the portal, it is not the time to panic. Rather, reach out to your institution to complain and also keep checking the portal as the names are not usually all uploaded at once – they could still be in the process of uploading them, and your name would likely be uploaded later.
