The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC (SOC) Limited, is a Schedule 2 (Major Public Entity) entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act NO. 1 of 1999, as amended.
It was established through an Act of Parliament in 1936, which replaced the previous state-controlled African Broadcasting Corporation.

- Applicants must possess First Degree
- Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in broadcasting environment of which 2 years should be on radio technical production.
- Applicants must be proficient in recording and editing software (i.e. pro tools, audacity, adobe etc).
- Applicants must possess above average experience and knowledge of broadcasting production technology and digital media application
- Applicants must possess above average proficiency of the English language (spoken and written) is essential
- Applicants must be able and willing to work under pressure and on short notice
- Applicants must possess excellent research skills and ability to apply research information
- Applicants must have the ability of popular music and current affairs will be an advantage
- Applicants must have good command of IsiZulu both written and spoken
